Uni Professionals Umbrella services offer the very best package for the busy professional contractor available on the market today. Whether you are new to contracting or a seasoned professional, the major benefit of using our Umbrella service is peace of mind. We will act as an intermediary between you and the company/agency you are currently contracting for.

You will be employed by Uni Professionals which means you won’t have to worry about legislation like the IR35. Uni Professionals Umbrella will take care of all your PAYE/NIC on your earnings; we will also handle all of your specialist contractor administration, which includes invoicing, TAX, NICs, VAT; this is all provided in return for a Fixed Weekly or Monthly Fee.

Uni Professionals Umbrella offers AWR compliant services. We are delighted to announce that following a review of our contracts and processes we can confirm that Uni Professionals Umbrella complies with all aspects of current UK employment law, including the Equality Act 2010 and The Agency Worker Regulations 2010 which came into effect on 1st October 2011.

HOW ITS WORKS

Once you've signed up with us, we will need your proof of ID, your proof of address and P45 (if any). We will then get in touch with your agency to request a copy of your contract. You become a Uni Professionals umbrella employee under an overarching contract, with a view to carrying out a succession of assignments for various agencies/clients during the course of that employment. To enable you to work for an end client, we will enter into a contract with your agency.

You will email your timesheets to us, and we will invoice to your agency. The agency or end client will pay us a rate the contract rate to cover payments for the work you have completed. This will also include all the costs related to your employment such as employers NICs and holiday entitlement. This rate is higher than if you were paid PAYE directly by the agency / end client, to cover these additional costs.

On the day the agency releases the funds; we will process the payment and make deductions for Income Tax, NICs, and take our agreed fee. The process is now completed! You'll receive a text or email when your payment is on its way.
